Training and Facilitation

Most successful social entrepreneurs, when asked what is the most important factor in their success, will say ‘people’ and we take this to mean the combination of the social entrepreneurs themselves, the team they develop and the people they strive to support.

Many people working in social enterprise would say that money is the most important thing but this is not so. As Muhammed Yunus has said “I made a list of people who needed just a little bit of money. And when the list was complete, there were 42 names. The total amount of money they needed was $27. I was shocked”. See http://www.muhammadyunus.org

We fundamentally recognise the power of people and have very many years of experience in the following areas and development, both in the UK and overseas:

  • One to one Coaching - Creating quality thinking space. Supporting people to (re)solve questions which enable them to, profitably, move forward with purpose and clarity.
  • Team Building – Developing exemplary teams. Strong teams are based on positive relationships founded on an understanding of strength and the willingness of individuals to contribute to the whole.
  • Culture Change – The conscious workplace. Building the organisational environment.
  • Releasing potential – Breaking new ground. Going beyond perceived restrictions; extending the comfort zone.
  • Effective Communication – The two way street. Delivery without overload. Being clear, concise and direct with consideration. Connection and decision making without ego and personal interest.
  • Leadership – Inspiring without dominating. Developing qualities and tools that engage and empower. Leading from in front as well as from behind.
  • Strategy – Sustainable planning and delivery. Identifying all options and covering all the bases.
