Most successful social entrepreneurs, when asked what is the most important factor in their success, will say ‘people’ and we take this to mean the combination of the social entrepreneurs themselves, the team they develop and the people they strive to support.

Many people working in social enterprise would say that money is the most important thing but this is not so. As Muhammed Yunus has said “I made a list of people who needed just a little bit of money. And when the list was complete, there were 42 names. The total amount of money they needed was $27.
